Наткнулся в интернете на книгу "OPERATION TRAMAWAY: THE END OF LONDON'S TRAMS, 1950-1952". Ссылка: https://archive.org/details/operationtramawa0000joyc. Нашёл много информации про трамваи Лондона в их последние годы, и там была такая таблица:

Из неё можно понять, что:

1) Очень многих вагонов в базе нет, например засветившегося в "The Elephant Will Never Forget" 1914.

2) То, что в базе обозначено как "Четырёхосный моторный Brush" - на самом деле несколько разных моделей. Например, https://transphoto.org/vehicle/521686/ (если он до 1950 дошёл именно под таким номером) - E/3.

3) Вагонов с номерами 2248 и больше, присутствующих в базе, в таблице нет, значит, они были списаны до Второй мировой войны.

This is very interesting. As local editor (for Belgium, France and the UK), my absolute priority is to keep the current fleet up to date. Needless to say, this covers a lot of cities.
As for London, I have interesting lists as far as the underground is concerned. They involve thousands of vehicles and I regularly enter these when I have time to do so. This alone takes time, in addition to the many new developments in other cities. It is only when I get through the new arrivals that I will enter new (existing) vehicles in the database (like London).
I have quite a few lists of historical vehicles here, as you mentioned. Almost all old trams in Belgium, but also all Belgian trams in Egypt as well as lists from America or Paris...
Such lists take more time than you think. Not only are there sometimes conflicting dates - I have an extensive library and thus multiple sources - but there have been regular conversions and renumberings.
Sometimes it is also extremely difficult to find out the correct history of 1 vehicle and I can demonstrate this with plenty of examples. If I enter a historical vehicle in the database, it is deliberate based on several sources, although I can never even guarantee that the entire history for 1 vehicle is accurate. There are plenty of known examples between what is claimed on paper and what happened in reality.
So I am not going to forget this information, but cannot promise to enter it soon in the database.
Of course, you can always do this: as a local editor, I will check and normally validate it.
