Based on the images you've sent, I see no quality issues on the original photo as well as on the cutten one. So problem is in the software or in some particular action you're performing. As an example i've worked on the 2nd image a little and have resized it.

I have a question about this photo. It was marked with "underexposed". I´m not quite sure that the statement is true. The sun is behind the tram and it shines on the whole left side of the vehicle. underexposed is not correct for this photo, right. Nonuniform lightning is the correct one for this case. Because sun was from behind.

To keep it as short as possible, last time I could agree with your explanation for the moderating "issue". This time I have a serios comlaint about bad moderating for 2 artistic photos

"Poor frame compositon"... I don't even have a comment on that. It's a long exposure (8MB in original) whose purpose is to be classified as an artistic or miscellaneus photo, becaue it doesn't only show the tram (although the tram is perfect to see in whole). Okay, I can cut the ground and re-upload it. But I can find 100+ pictures that are much worse but were still accepted.
"Specify vehicle number"... I specified it. When I mark the photo as miscellaneus, I can only do it in the descritpion. But it can still be fixed so it doesn't bother me that much

This picture has the same objections and it was marked red! But what makes me angry here, is the fact that this is a beautiful picture of the Tatra tram. Any kind of cutting would destroy the picture in total. The picture has strong colours and is very sharp, with the tram in the middle. The moderator who declined this artistic photo is a , to say it kindly. I am very very dissapointed. If such a picture is to be declined, then you can remove 60% of other photos on the site too. And I am seriously thinking about closing the profile.

I'm not a photo moderator but I do share opinion with them - asphalt texture over half of the picture does not add anything artistic. Also, picture taken in the dark, does not automatically make it artistic. You were asked to attach the photo to a vehicle because it can be clearly identified - those are the rules.

On this website, photos are being moderated to match common standards so it wouldn't become a dumping ground for random crap. There is no point in blaming some moderator for not accepting your photo because this is wrong on it's own. It is a collective decision of several moderators which strictly follow their guidelines. You just have to accept it, just like you had to accept the site rules when you were creating your account.

For both your night photos, you could have done better. Use gloves / hat / nearby pebbles to raise camera lens from the ground so the tram would be in the center. Photo of 2219 is hopeless in terms of website requirements but 454 can still be accepted if you cut it to be somewhat like this: https://imgur.com/a/OzPBDtE

These pictures here were marked blue, and the reasons are hilarious. "Extraneous objects/people" (for the photo from Sofia) while the tram is clear to see and nothing else except the tram. The picture is sharp and the colours are good. The pole in the left is the only thing that is a little bit disturbing, but I'm not a magician to make it disappear. Everyone who has just a little knowledge about photography wouldn't be bothered by that.

Then, the picture from Sarajevo... Who moderated that? He must be blind or on some kind of substance if that picture isn't good. Is it because of the pole? Should I have destroyed it with a bazooka? Or maybe crop the picture until nothing can be seen anymore? Is the pole important or the tram? Using the organ called brain is obviously harder than expected...

The interiors of Zagreb trams...the reasons for marking them as blue are nonexistent.... Utter nonsense. No people, no objects, the whole vehicle is clear to see and absolutely nothing is disturbing the eye. Not askew, strong colours and sharp what needs to be sharp.
I expect this to be corrected, as it's absolutely ridiculous what's happening lately. I'm into photography for years already and obviously know much more about it than your so called moderators... If these deserve to be blue, than at least 25% of the pictures on this site published in the last 2 years should be deleted, and additional 10-15 to be marked blue which aren't yet. Utter nonsense...I hope it won't be happening again in the future.

No insult - particularly as I also often suffer by non-understandable moderator decisions - but all of the cited pictures have a little bit "frog perspective".

As I'm a tall guy, sometimes I also have the fear, that particularly interiors are falling into a wrong view 'cause I take photos "from above", but that one never seemed to be a problem till now.

The Sarajevo low floor tram can be a bit regarded with "too much ground", but this objection is present for more than a decade on this site, and that can be eliminated by some cropping.


What's for me to be less understood the constant "strong wide-angle distortion" critic. It appears at many photos on mine in the recent times, when it's not full frontal and also less side-viewed. Particularly vehicles with round fronts are affected, I can only think, that they cheat the eyes of moderators.
